[Corporate Sustainability Action] United for the Ocean – ACDT x San Tiau Luen Beach Cleanup!

In support of environmental sustainability and to fulfill corporate social responsibility, ACDT organized the “Cherish the Ocean Together – San Tiau Luen Beach Cleanup” event on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Employees and their families were invited to take action together, protecting our shared blue planet through hands-on participation.

Jointly organized by the company and the Employee Welfare Committee, the event was held at Yunlin’s San Tiau Luen Beach, drawing enthusiastic participation from staff and their families. Starting from the 8:00 a.m. gathering, participants worked in teams to pick up marine debris, sort and document waste types and weights, and gained deeper insights into the ecological impact of ocean pollution. Despite the intense sun, spirits remained high as the ACDT team demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainable practices.

In addition to the beach cleanup, the itinerary included a visit to Beigang’s historic temples and a tour of Tourism Factory, promoting both environmental education and cultural appreciation. The event successfully blended ecological awareness with local engagement, reinforcing team unity and ESG values.

The marine debris collected varied widely — plastic bottles, straws, fishing nets, Styrofoam, glass items, and more — all of which pose significant threats to marine life. Through this initiative, ACDT hopes participants will carry forward the value of ocean conservation into their everyday lives.
